Krudum Lookout Tower

The Krudum lookout tower stands on the summit of the same name in the Slavkov Forest, at an altitude of 835 metres. The steel structure was opened in 2008 and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The tower can be reached via the yellow-marked hiking trail from the hamlet of Hrušková.

Krudum is not a lookout tower in the classic sense, built purely for admiring the view. Here, the "lookout tower" is a viewing platform with an access staircase mounted on the lattice mast of an unmanned monitoring station.

For this reason, a few rules apply that you won't find elsewhere – for example, you may only climb the tower with your mobile phone switched off or left behind.
